Wayuu Mochila with Strap

These woven mochila handbags are made by women artisans in the Guajira department of Colombia, on the Atlantic coast. They are made through a Banco de Hilos de la Guajira (the Thread Bank of the Guajira) partnership with local nonprofit organizations to provide threads for the artisans to make handbags; in exchange, the artisans and their families can receive meals and social support.

Please be aware that because these items are handmade, there may be small imperfections in the items. No two items will be identical.
